Horseplay Policy

Purpose

The purpose of this Horseplay Policy is to promote a safe and professional work environment by prohibiting horseplay, pranks, and other inappropriate behaviors that could lead to injury, accidents, or disruptions within Ruxley Integrated Global Services Limited.

Scope

This policy applies to all employees, contractors, and third-party service providers at all Ruxley Integrated Global Services Limited’s locations and during all work-related activities.

Policy Statement “

Ruxley is committed to maintaining a safe and respectful workplace. Horseplay, which includes but is not limited to roughhousing, practical jokes, or any other disruptive behavior, is strictly prohibited. Such actions pose a risk to individuals’ safety and can undermine productivity and morale.

Definitions

– Horseplay: Engaging in playful or silly behavior that could cause physical harm or create unsafe conditions for oneself or others. This includes, but is not limited to, roughhousing, throwing objects, practical jokes, or any activities that are not related to work tasks.

Expectations

Professional Conduct: All employees are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times. This includes refraining from any form of horseplay that could lead to injury or disrupt work activities.
Safety Awareness: Employees must remain vigilant and aware of their surroundings, especially in potentially hazardous areas. Activities that divert attention from work tasks or safety protocols are not acceptable.

Consequences of Violating the Policy

Any employee found engaging in horseplay or similar inappropriate behaviors will face disciplinary action, which may include verbal or written warnings, suspension, or termination of employment, depending on the severity and frequency of the behavior

Reporting Violations

Employees who witness or experience horseplay or other inappropriate behavior are encouraged to report it to their supervisor or the Human Resources (HR) department immediately. All reports will be handled confidentially and investigated promptly

Training and Awareness

Ruxley will provide training to all employees to ensure they understand the importance of maintaining a safe work environment and the potential risks associated with horseplay.
Regular reminders and updates will be communicated to reinforce this policy and encourage a culture of safety.

Policy Review

This Horseplay Policy will be reviewed annually or as needed to ensure its effectiveness and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Updates will be communicated to all employees
