Purpose
The purpose of this Anti-Theft and Unauthorized Use of Ruxley Integrated Global Services Limited’s Assets Policy is to establish guidelines and procedures to prevent theft, unauthorized use, and misuse of the company’s assets. This policy aims to protect Ruxley’s physical and intellectual property, ensuring accountability and integrity in the use of all assets.
Scope
This policy applies to all employees, contractors, and third-party service providers of Ruxley Integrated Global Resources, as well as any individuals accessing Ruxley’s facilities or assets
Policy Statement “Ruxley is committed to safeguarding its assets and ensuring they are used solely for legitimate business purposes. Theft or unauthorized use of company assets, including but not limited to equipment, materials, vehicles, intellectual property, and confidential information, will not be tolerated.”
Definitions
- Assets: Any physical or intellectual property owned by Ruxley, including equipment, tools, vehicles, documents, and digital information.
- Theft: The unauthorized taking or use of Ruxley’s assets with the intent to permanently deprive the company of that asset.
- Unauthorized Use: Any use of Ruxley’s assets that has not been expressly permitted by the organization or is outside the scope of an individual’s job responsibilities.
Expectations
- Authorized Use: Employees and contractors are expected to use Ruxley’s assets only for their intended purposes and within the scope of their responsibilities. Any deviation from this must be approved by management.
- Security Measures: All employees must take reasonable steps to secure Ruxley’s assets, including locking equipment and securing confidential information.
- Reporting: Employees must promptly report any suspicious activity, theft, or unauthorized use of assets to their supervisor or the Human Resources (HR) department.
Consequences of Violating the Policy
Any employee or contractor found to have engaged in theft or unauthorized use of Ruxley’s assets will face disciplinary action, which may include termination of employment, legal action, and restitution for any losses incurred by the company.
Investigative Procedures
- Ruxley will investigate any reported incidents of theft or unauthorized use of assets thoroughly and discreetly. This may include interviews, reviewing security footage, and examining relevant documentation.
- Employees are expected to cooperate fully with any investigations related to potential theft or unauthorized use.
Training and Awareness
- Ruxley will provide training and resources to educate employees about the importance of asset protection and the potential consequences of theft or unauthorized use.
- Regular reminders and updates will be communicated to reinforce this policy and promote awareness.
Policy Review
This Anti-Theft and Unauthorized Use of Ruxley Assets Policy will be reviewed annually or as needed to ensure its effectiveness and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Updates will be communicated to all employees.
